TV actor Ravjeet Dingh, who is best known for playing the role of antagonist 'Chirag' in popular 'Colors' show 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi', is away from TV since a long time. But here's a good news for Ravjeet's fans as he's all set to be back on TV after a break of almost 3 years very soon. Reportedly, he will soon join the cast of Sony TV's 'Rishta Likehnge Hum Naya' which stars Tejasswi Prakash & Rohit Suchanti in lead roles of 'Diya' & 'Ratan'.
He'll again be seen seen playing a character with grey shades after 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi'.

Speaking about his role in 'Rishta Hum Likhenge Baya', Ravjeet told a leading daily that, "I haven't been briefed about my role yet. All I know at the moment is that I am playing a character with grey shades. He will enter the show posing as the real Ratan Maan Singh and will claim that the other guy is nothing but an impostor. He will also furnish documents to prove his claim. The uterior motive behind this drama will be revealed eventually. In the meantime, he will fall in love with Diya, who has always doubted his intentions and never believed that he was the real Ratan."

On been asked about his long break from TV, he further told TOI that, "I had finalised a project, but it didn't take off. I will go back to it once it goes on floors. However, I realised that it's important to be seen, as out of sight means out of mind. This offer came my way at the right time and it seemed like an interesting opportunity."

On the career front, he made his TV debut with Channel V's show 'Paanch' & was last seen in ZEE TV's show 'Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi' 2015. In 'Meri Aashiqui...', he was seen as Inshaani's (Radhika Madan) ex-fiance & Ritika's (Smriti KLhanna) ex-boyfriend.
